Where will every big FA land next season? Robin Reynolds Takes on it
DISCLAIMER: This is pretending that every of these
players end up testing the waters in FA.
Einhorn: Dbacks.
I'll start with the easiest one, as this was consensus thing during the
Donked-Einhorn trade, During FA Arizona is supposed to get their ace back and
start their run for the postseason.
Donked: Padres
Even though Donked is supposed to go back to Tampa Bay, they already have 2
aces in Ed Turner and Willoughby Hoose, and a established reliever with Wade
Wilson, so Donked might look for an opportunity on another team, and the Padres
might be a good place to land, a decent roster with an ongoing rebuild that
just happens to need pitching, and Donked seemed to let the whole "Going full Donked"
behind, as he's been really good for Arizona.
Whitt Bass: Stays in St Louis. If he doesn't become a GM next season, then he has no reason to leave St Louis,
after Dan Gerzone decline he's the undisputed ACE and favorite for Cy Young
next season.
Dan Gerzone: Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers are
the home of soon to retire players, and that might be the place to land for Dan
Gerzone, as they need pitching, and we doubt Gerzone can return to his dominant
self, so he has something to prove, and what a better team to prove himself?
Dodgers have no pitching so he would become the Ace, Dodgers lead the league in
runs so he would have run support, literally this would be the perfect fit for
the dodgers, and Gerzone would benefit from it.
Thomas Chiggins: The Boston Red Sox
.Unless the cubs are an expansion team next year, Chiggins will probably be a
Red Sox.This was a hard decision between the Red Sox and the Cardinals, but I came to
the conclusion that Chiggins would be a better fit in Boston, Replacing the
Auto K prone Gregury Polinko, adding the best Pure Hitter in the league to an
already Loaded team might make the Red sox the #1 undisputed team next season,
Fake Baseball could imitate Real baseball with this one.
Dakota Carolina Montana: St.
Louis Cardinals
IF Chiggins ends up in the Red Sox, the Cards have to make this move.
The best Player in the game plays on a team that might be stuck in the same place
(Fake Baseball imitates Real Baseball, again) so adding DCM to an already
really good OF would make the Cards favorites to win the paper cup (if they're
not already) the only question is if DCM wants to chase rings.
GH Morello: Oakland Athletics
This is considering the Indians make no more moves and Morello decides to leave again, he wants to leadoff, the A's have no clear leadoff, so he fills a need, also the A's have a really good pitching staff (the moment Joe get his shit together that is)
Steel Pipe: Tampa Bay Devil Rays
The Rockies and the Devil Rays are similar teams, they both can beat any team
in any given day, but they can also lose to any team in any given day, so if
Steel Pipe wants a change of scenery, but wants to keep it simple, it's a no
brainer he lands in Tampa, as it's an arguably better team of the two, and he
loves Tampa Bay and the city of Tampa Loves him as well.
Which other big name is gonna move? let me know via ping and don't forget to like share and suscribe.
